About

Emily Victory is a math-minded painter and extreme pattern enthusiast. Emily has degrees in both mathematics and fine art, and loves combining the two. She works mostly large scale, in acrylic - on geometric murals, large wooden panels, and the walls of her home. She can’t handle drab grey, loves a good brain teaser, loves homemade Halloween costumes, and DIYs her home like it’s her job.

Victory lives along a bike trail in rural Minnesota, with her math-loving husband, Phil, and four, young, energetic, art-loving boys.

Emily’s work has been featured on HGTV, PBS, and Twin Cities Public Television. She has spoken at The Walker Art Center, University of Minnesota, St. Cloud State University, Luther College, and the Science Museum of Minnesota. Emily’s MN Original Artist Day Jobs episode won a Midwest Emmy, and went on to be include in PBS’s National Video Contest, where it won Most Viewed Video.
